Obey

“Obey” is part of an experimental series I started last year. It’s an attempt to combine fiction and art on a single panel. It’s also an attempt to use the single panel to move away from telling a linear story (as far away as one can move from the inherent linear aspects of writing). This doesn’t mean the story is simply spliced up and spread over a single panel (along with corresponding pictures), though that’s certainly possible. It means that the symbols and visuals and words all speak to something from the story or the world of the story (this means some narrative, some are ideas behind what moves a character etc).
