Depicted are three different phases of a honeymoon. They represent a new style I have employed in which the artist, finding reality as measurable insufficient for mental wellness, closes his eyes, imagines layers of beauty that will bring peace and equilibrium, then returns to his lived context and begins to paint and actualize.

Rex Wilder is a poet and photography artist, with four books of poetry published, poems in magazines such as Poetry and TLS, and their first hybrid book of words and images, A Quiet Place to Land, forthcoming this fall from Chatwin Books. Many of thier images have been covers and part of featured galleries in journals and magazines.
